The CIES 2018 welcome reception will be held on Monday, March 26th from 6:30-8:30 PM on the colonial patio of the Franz Mayer Museum, located just across the Alameda Central park or a 5-minute walk from the Hilton Reforma Hotel. You will need a ticket for the reception, which will be given to you when you check in at the registration desk for the Conference on Sunday, March 25th or Monday, March 26th.
As a courtesy to the Society, all CIES 2018 Conference participants will have free access to the permanent museum collections upon presenting their Conference name tags.
“The World of Tim Burton” Exhibit at the Franz Mayer Museum
If interested, tickets can be purchased online. Visit www.franzmayer.org.mx and click on the pop-up window, which directs users to the Sr. Pago portal. Once in the portal, select your product (the number of tickets desired, from 1 to 4) and continue to the next page. There, you will be asked to choose a date and time and then process your payment.
If you prefer to buy tickets in person, you can visit the Tim Burton box office and inquire about availability. Please note that due to the exhibition being in its final days, as well as the holidays, availability may be low. It is highly recommended that interested parties purchase their tickets ahead of time through the online portal in order to guarantee entry.
La recepción de bienvenida de la Conferencia CIES 2018 será el lunes 26 de marzo desde las 18.30 hasta las 20.30 hs., en el patio colonial del Museo Franz Mayer, ubicado frente al parque de la Alameda Central, a cinco minutos del Hotel Hilton Reforma. Para ingresar a la recepción necesitará una entrada, que recibirá en el mostrador de registro cuando haga el check in a la Conferencia el domingo 25 o el lunes 26 de marzo.
Por cortesía, todos los participantes de la Conferencia CIES 2018 tendrán acceso gratuito a las colecciones permanentes del museo mediante la presentación de sus gafetes.
Exhibición “El mundo de Tim Burton” en el Museo Franz Mayer:
Personas interesadas pueden comprar boletos en línea. Entre a la página www.franzmayer.org.mx y haga click en la ventana emergente, que dirige al portal Sr. Pago. Una vez entre al portal, seleccione su producto (la cantidad de boletos deseados) y continúe a la página siguiente. Luego le pedirán eligir la fecha y el horario que más le convenga y después a realizar el pago.
Si prefiere comprar su(s) boleto(s) en persona, puede visitar las taquillas Tim Burton y preguntar si hay disponibilidad en el momento. Fíjese de que al ser los últimos días de la exhibición, y también de Semana Santa, el número de visitantes aumenta, por lo cual la disponibilidad puede ser poca. Se recomienda anticipar la compra usando el portal de venta en línea para poder asegurar su entrada.
